Question:How does a volcano formed?

Answer:High temperature beneath or above the Earth's surface melt the mantle. The melted mantle is called magma. Magma pushes its way out through the cracks along the boundaries of plates to the Earth's surface. When magma reaches the Earth's surface, known as lava and is cooled down, it form a cone-shaped mountain, a volcano.
